all the sunglasses in the same direction a telephone pole up through a tree – a woodpecker makes its choice a graduate's room –
silence hangs on her medals humid night – water bugs scurry across the moon fireworks on the beach –
pieces of the moon wash ashore shady pool – a koi returns my stare frozen stubble –
motionless in a train's snowy wake |
